Chrome Wire Shelf Posts– Heavy duty industrial units use one piece solid posts. some brands use a 2 piece post that screw together. 1 piece carbon steel posts are considered to be stronger. Also keep in mind the actual diameter of your posts. The larger the post diameter typically the more “heavy duty” the shelving unit is considered.
Chrome Finish.- How durable is your finish. Does it have a clear coat? Salt spray results.? How rust resistant is it( Please note chrome wire shelving is not meant for walk-in cooler) ? Don’t let anyone try to convince you otherwise. s it a nickel chrome finish? What is the warranty? Keep these factors in mind.
